2024 – we are doing a monthly clean on the FIRST SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH. We will meet ready to start at 10.00 at the Swimming Pool Car Park. If you need to borrow equipment please come along earlier (from 9.40) as we will ALL be cleaning, and there will be nobody around to help you if you turn up a bit late, sorry! We will end at 11.00.
Update -this year has been going fantastically well – apart from 2 that we had to cancel (my fault) Over 60 people on average at all monthly cleans so far (up to October)! Thank you so much. This of course has meant that we have run out of equipment on occasion so please bring your own litter picker if you have one (we get ours from Helping Hand if you want to buy one.)
If you can help set up or sort please either arrive early, at around 9.30 or stay after until 11.30.
To help set out, we just need people to unload the car, set out a circuit, help with sign in and dishing out equipment and a brief safety chat to each family group.
If you can help with future beach cleans, please email us and we will add you to our rota. Let us know if you want to join us on Whatsapp, which is the way our steering group and beach clean group talk to each other.
